The program has extensive contact with students over the summer for a low cost-per outcome and uses computer science to deliver broader STEM proficiency outcomes and give students a better sense of computer science in college and beyond. Current evidence is strong and based on students’ academic performance and grades in the subsequent academic year. The ChiS&E Summer Program has a 100% efficiency rate.
